They can see the page titles, the URLs, and the meta descriptions in the form of a short paragraph for each site. When users use search engines like Google, they’ll get a result page containing a list of content from several websites. While it might seem convenient to leave this task to Google, you risk losing an opportunity to generate traffic by writing a compelling meta description that’s relevant to your audience. If you don’t add a meta description yourself, Google will automatically take snippets from the pages and generate a description for each.
